History of Crystal Bay Club
Built in the 1930s as the Ta-Neva-Ho, it has evolved from a paltry 6 slots to becoming The Crystal Bay in 1956 after a serious renovation. Their website has a very detailed history page which we won't recount for you here - what you need to know is that the joint has been completely renovated and it ROCKS. Check it out.
How are the rooms at Crystal Bay Club?
Crystal Bay dosen't have a hotel, BUT it still is a hopping joint. Mostly a night spot where you can go get your drink on to some kick ass bands while attempting to coerce your weekend ski lift crush back to your dungeon for an evening of debauchered glory. What happens in Tahoe... happens after a long day on the slopes. Know what i'm sayin?
Entertainment-wise, the Crystal Bay books lots of adventurous rock/funk bands with a tendency to lean towards original Jamband/Funk stuff, blues and tribute artists. This is actually THE place for Live music in Tahoe. If you like jams and booze and chicks go to the Crystal Bay dude.
What restaurants are at Crystal Bay Club?
Two choices, Premier Cafe (very funky and super cool and super affordable foodstuffs) and the Steak and Lobster House serves top notch seafood and landfood as well as a nice assortment of fine wines. Reservations recomended.

Exclusive Tips for Crystal Bay Club:
As previously stated, come to the Crystal Bay at night when there are hot national touring acts in town. Chances are there will be a bunch of hippies there if there is a jamband playing and you know what that means - GANJA!
